Additional memory can be purchased pre-installed by Apple, but additional savings are possible by purchasing third party memory. Installing RAM in a Mac mini is tricky, and Autograph Systems can install it for you for a small fee. (The Mac mini supports 3GB RAM via third party memory; Apple offers configurations up to 2GB.)
Adding an AppleCare Protection Plan is recommended. Autograph Systems offers a significant discount for AppleCare when purchased along with a new Mac.
